The Pitch Shot:

The pitch shot, as demonstrated, is not only critical for your short game but can be a very useful training aid for your full shots. The pitch is a slightly reduced version of your full swing. It has all the elements of the full swing, body turn, arm swing, and wrist hinging but is done at a slower speed and less full.

If you can learn to make the motion pictured above, a turn away from the target with wrist hinge and a turn toward the target with the wrists re-hinging you’ve got the makings of a solid swing.
