Tickets Available, New Box Office at SouthPark Mall

For 2009 Quail Hollow Championship

In an effort to provide a convenient option for patrons to purchase tickets, the Quail Hollow Championship has added another ticket outlet for area fans for the 2009 tournament.

Starting March 24, area fans can visit the Quail Hollow Championship kiosk at SouthPark Mall, and purchase tickets for the April 27-May 3 Quail Hollow Championship to be held at Quail Hollow Club. All ticket packages are available.

“We felt this would be a great opportunity for those patrons either visiting the shopping area or for those who live nearby to conveniently go and purchase tickets. Plus, by doing this they will save $10 shipping and handling fees and be able to walk away with tickets in hand.” said Kym Hougham, Executive Director of the Quail Hollow Championship. “It also is another way of reminding visitors to the SouthPark Mall that the tournament is just around the corner.”

The Quail Hollow Championship kiosk at SouthPark Mall is located at Center Court, near the escalators. The Ticket Box Office is open Monday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.; Sunday 1:00-5:00 p.m. The kiosk is being operated by tournament volunteers.

Tickets start at $25 for the Practice Pack that consists of daily tickets for Monday’s Pro-Am along with Tuesday’s practice round and Wednesday’s Pro-Am. Tickets for the first two rounds Thursday and Friday are $40 each and tickets for the final two rounds Saturday and Sunday are $50 each. Weekly books are also available for $140, which reflects a $65 savings. The cost of parking at authorized lots and shuttle service to and from Quail Hollow Club are included in the ticket price as are all taxes.

To accommodate families, children ages 12 and under are free with a paid adult admission (one child per paying adult).

Patrons can also purchase tickets by visiting QuailHollowChampionship.com or by calling (800) 945-0777.

The Championship is again offering several Premium Ticket options this year:

The majority of the net proceeds from the 2009 Quail Hollow Championship will benefit Teach For America, a national foundation that provides a corps of outstanding recent college graduates of all academic majors who commit to teach for two years in underserved urban and rural public schools. In six years, the Quail Hollow Championship has donated over $6 million to Teach for America and $3.4 million to local charities.
