Updated for 2018

Mobile Device Policy- the policy has been updated to now allow texting in all areas as well as the option to capture video, audio and photos in all areas throughout the week. Please continue to be respectful of play – do not interfere with players, caddies or media and be sure to keep your devices on silent at all times.

Community Courtyard - visit three of our primary charitable partners in one stop. Located at Champions Park near the 10th fairway visit Levine Children’s Hospital, The First Tee of Greater Charlotte and Teach For America. Each of these community partners benefit by having the tournament support their nonprofits. They want to share their story. Each organization will have kid’s activities where they can be entertained with educational based games and fun. Community Courtyard will be open Wednesday-Sunday.

Levine Children’s Hospital- Make sure to visit Levine Children’s Hospital’s Teddy Bear Clinic in the Community Courtyard. Children will receive a free stuffed animal and learn that the hospital is a place for them to receive comfort when they’re sick – and not a place to be scared of. LCH will also have a card-making station where children, teens and families can make cards to encourage and support patients. And don’t forget to visit the free photo booth with your entire family!

The First Tee of Greater Charlotte- Join The First Tee of Greater Charlotte at the Community Courtyard. We invite you to visit with our staff and volunteers to learn how The First Tee of Greater Charlotte is impacting lives through the game of golf. TFTGC volunteers will be available to assist players with a SNAG putting course and a chipping/pitching challenge.

Teach For America- For the third year, join Teach For America in the Community Courtyard for “Science and Golf 2018”. Sometimes what you learn in school can seem unrelated to the “real world”, a little disconnected and well, a little boring. But, math and science are everywhere in familiar and not so familiar ways. For a game like golf, there’s math because you have to keep score. There’s also science, lots and lots of science. Come learn a little about the science of the game and join us for a few hands-on experiments. We promise, there will not be a test.
